There is no question that Atkinson produced more Peck's Bad Boy plays than anyone else. It appears that one of the keys to their success was their advertising efforts.

Advertising cards.
Atkinson used a group of cards with Bad Boy scenes on the front and advertising information on the reverse. Sometimes the advertising on the reverse was generic.i.e. Come see Peck's Bad Boy, etc.etc. But not infrequently the reverse noted a date and a location for the play. Any front of the card could be seen with any reverse.
