A Bad Boy’s Diary was book #1 in this firm’s Pilgrim’s Library. It originally came with a dust jacket.

It is cloth and measures 7.5″ x 5″.

This title was published in the 1924-1925 time range.

Although the title page notes G. W. Peck as the author, the author was actually Metta Victoria Fuller Victor.

This postcard advertises Peck’s Bad Boy in the window on the left. It can be approximately dated by the symbols/lettering in the stamp box. The AZO with two upward triangles and two downward triangles dates the card between 1918 and 1930. Based on this dating it may have been an ad for the 1921 Peck’s Bad Boy movie.

The Chatterton Opera House in Springfield, Illinois hosted authorized performances of Peck’s Bad Boy in April, 1912.

Here is another advertising flyer. This one is from the Fulton Opera House in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In operation since 1852. See: Full History – Fulton Theatre

It is 8” x 5” and has four pages, two of which note the Peck’s Bad Boy movie. Other movies noted are “Gridiron Flash”, “Most Precious Thing in Life” and “Transatlantic Merry Go Round”.

I have seen two cigar boxes that highlight Peck’s Bad Boy.

Harris & Balkeley
I know nothing about this cigar company. Interestingly the box has the picture on the top of the box and inside the box of “His Pa is ‘Nitiated”. This illustration is on card #7 as seen above. It is therefore likely that these cigars were part of the Peck’s Bad Boy card promotion.
This item is probably from the 1880’s.

Peck’s Bad Boy Cardinals
This box appears to be generic except for the Peck’s Bad Boy name. “Boîte Nature” refers to the type of cedar box the cigars came in. No date has been established.
